21 November 2015 is my next family photo session. I am doing it in my favourite park which looks like a tropical beach!

Cannot wait until then.

Wanted to share some of the photos I've taken at my first fundraising photo sessions day on 16 November 2014.

Everybody has a hobby. Some even call it their passion. And most of us would love to make a living out of our hobby. Unfortunately, in most cases this is not possible. However, we can make a difference, a statement in our lives by just enjoying our hobbies!!!

Hello, I am Tanya (Tatiana for long). I am a full time mum to two beautiful kids. My hobby is photography! I love photographing my own kids, my family events, making photo books and sending them to friends and relatives, making calendars and giving them as presents. But I also love to do it for others, friends, friends of friends and colleagues. All people I have done it for were very happy with their photographs. I sometimes took a bit of money for it; other times I did it for free.

My life is pretty easy. I have everything I need and have been achieving all my goals in the past. I have a great support in my husband and family. However, there is one evil that comes into my life and makes me cringe of pain more and more often. That’s cancer. I have lost several people that were dear to me to cancer. My other dear person is fading away. And god it is painful to see!

I want to help. Help not the people that are suffering already, but the future generations. I want to help find a cure! “How can you do it Tanya?” –  you would ask  a reasonable question.

And I will answer to you “I will photograph! I will do what I am passionate about! I will put my best effort and make people happy with their family photos. I will make a little bit of their history. And they will remember me. But they will also remember that they have done something really important in their life. Something that not everyone is prepared to do. To help find cancer cure!”

“What I will also do”, -  I will continue – “I will inspire other people to do the same. Act on their hobby to earn money to beat cancer. And if every person on the planet does it, even half of the people on the planet, we will definitely beat it. We will find treatment and prevention measures for all cancer, just the way we did for breast cancer, prostate cancer and other cancers that are treatable these days!”

And of course I could have done a bigger contribution to this mission if I was a scientist, but I am not. I am just a Contract Specialist. But, there are a lot of young and talented scientists out their doing their cancer researches. They need money to do that. And I believe I CAN help raise that money, especially if YOU help me out!

Here is my plan:

I commit 1 day of my spare time every two months or so, to do family photo sessions (can be kids only, or just people who want some good photos). I will charge a fee and the payment will be done to the Cure Cancer Australian Foundation. Read about their great mission on their home page and in the blurb below.

So now that you hopefully have read it to the end (sorry for the length of this message) you can do four things:

1. Contact me and arrange a photo session (email, phone, FB).

2. Donate any amount on my page and show your appreciation of what I do.

3. Get your hobby into action and start earning money to find cancer cure. You can use my web  page to submit your donations or set up your own (please ask me how).
